Michael Hendricks will be honoured at the next Kitchener City Council meeting on August 29, 2016 at 7 p.m.

He saved a 9  month old baby from choking at Kelsey’s Restaurant on August 1, 2016.

Melissa Bell, family friend to Karli Walters said,

“What great news about Michael being honored!!”

Michael wrote to me as I informed him about the amazing news,

“Thank you so much Alim for your work and kindness! I’m truly humbled! Thank you my friend.”

City Councillor Kelly Galloway-Sealock said in a statement to me,

“I have spoken with the Mayor and we are going to look at having Michael presented with a certificate at our next council meeting.”

Congradulations Michael, you deserve this award! We ask everyone to come to the next City Council meeting showing your support for Michael. For more information about the City Council meeting, please visit www.kitchener.ca.
