  1. Greetings Kara – thank you for getting on line and for playing on Friday afternoons. The tunes this afternoon made for a peaceful Friday! All the best to you and the family.

  3. Afternoon Kara, I really really like listening to your music, but mid April I have not been able to get you on Facebook. Are you still on? I was one of your top 25 listeners and would like to know how to continue to listen to you perform.

    1. Facebook said I was violating copyright policies. I stopped performing anything that wasn’t over 100 years old. We filled out the forms to appeal eleven times but never got a response. One day we got a message saying our account had been disabled. Apparently the page is still there but we do not have access to it. You can listen here every other Friday. We are trying to get back on facebook.

  4. Listening to Kara on the keys is a miracle when knowing of her challenges in her earliest chapters. Truly humbling and a pleasure to follow her journey.

  5. Me and the guys are all listening!!! Thanks so much for playing our song!!!!! This was our first radio play (other than a couple local online stations)

  6. Thanks for playing my song Love in Zimbabwe ft Hydro Fontaine ๐Ÿฆ…๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ผ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง

  7. Loaded website. Site said “Currently playing Early Morning Jazz.”
My ears heard Amy Goodman with Democracy Now.
Booooo! (just kidding. Fine show, fine show, but ’tis no Early Morning Jazz. Guess I’m headed back to the archives!)

  8. Okay, this will make me sound old because I’m only commenting on the 70s music (I wasn’t even alive then) but I have to say that The Eagles Xmas reminds me of this “vinyl sounds better” myth that I need to address. It’s not the “vinyl” that sounds “better”, it’s the way records were produced in the vinyl era. When they made a record in the 70s they produced it so that it would sound great on vinyl which had all kinds of sonic limitations, and still does, and that “vinyl sound” is actually just the studio techniques that were used to extract the most out of the vinyl reproduction format.

  9. Is it really that weird to listen to the Jethro Tull Xmas album in mid-January?
Please don’t take this listener feedback as “play more Tull” because that’s not what I’m saying.
So far I like everything I’ve heard on the main page where you keep replays of recent shows, and though the live experience is different and appreciated, I’ve been in your archives exclusively for the past few days while I slog through a bunch of data entry/spreadsheet work and loving it. Just keep doing everything you’re doing now.

  10. what a rush… music I’ve never heard and you can’t get it too many places. what a treasure this station is. the voice of freedom
you can catch no crap radio every friday night at midnight. here.

    1. Hi Anna: Doing traffic updates would be difficult on Radio Waterloo. We don’t always have someone in the studio during the most most important drive times (6am-9am, 3pm-6pm), and we have no technology to monitor traffic. And the drive time timeslots are already filled, so there aren’t available timeslots in which to place traffic updates.

If you have any ideas on how to do traffic reports we’d love to hear them. Send an e-mail to the Programming Committee at progcom@radiowaterloo.ca and we’ll be in touch.

      –Bob.
